Terms of Service

By downloading, installing, or using PTO Master (“the Software”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”) on behalf of yourself and your agency (“you” or “Agency”). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Software.

Subject to your compliance with these Terms and payment of applicable fees, PTO Master grants your Agency a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use the Software on the number of devices covered by your purchased license.

• •Base License includes activation on 3 devices
• •Additional device keys may be purchased separately
• •Each license key may only be activated on one device
• •Licenses are valid for one year from activation date

We offer a 30-day free trial with full software functionality. The trial period:

• •Begins on the date of first launch
• •Cannot be reset by uninstalling and reinstalling
• •Automatically converts to read-only mode upon expiry
• •Does not require a credit card or payment information

Annual licenses must be renewed to maintain full access. Upon expiration:

• •The Software enters read-only mode
• •All agency data is preserved and accessible
• •New records cannot be created until renewal
• •Renewal reminders are sent at 30 days and 7 days before expiration

The Software is licensed exclusively for use by law enforcement agencies for managing Police Training Officer programs. You agree to use the Software only for lawful purposes consistent with applicable law and your agency's policies.

You may not:

• •Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Software
• •Remove or alter any proprietary notices or labels
• •Share, sublicense, or resell license keys
• •Use the Software to manage training for non-law enforcement purposes
• •Attempt to circumvent license validation systems
• •Use the Software in a manner that violates any applicable law or regulation

All training data, recruit records, evaluation documents, and agency materials created using PTO Master belong exclusively to your Agency. We make no claim of ownership over any content you create, store, or process using the Software.

You are solely responsible for:

• •The accuracy and completeness of training records
• •Compliance with records retention requirements in your jurisdiction
• •Backing up your agency's data
• •Security of user credentials within your agency

The Software is provided “as is” without warranty of any kind. We disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

We do not warrant that the Software will be error-free or uninterrupted, or that any defects will be corrected.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, PTO Master shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of revenue, or loss of business, arising from your use of the Software, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the Software in the 12 months preceding the claim.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless PTO Master and its officers from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Software, violation of these Terms, or violation of any applicable law.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes shall be resolved in the appropriate courts of competent jurisdiction.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated to active license holders via email. Continued use of the Software after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

We may terminate your license if you violate these Terms. Upon termination, you must cease all use of the Software and destroy all copies in your possession. Termination does not entitle you to a refund.

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and PTO Master regarding the Software and supersede all prior agreements.
